What is grandview lookout tower?

Grandview Lookout Tower is a historic fire lookout tower located in the Cherokee National Forest in Unicoi County, Tennessee, United States. The tower was built in 1934 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and stands at an elevation of 4,369 feet (1,332 meters) above sea level. The tower is a 40-foot (12 meters) steel tower with a 21x21-foot (6.4x6.4 meters) cab at the top. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, including the Appalachian Mountains, Blue Ridge Mountains, and the Nolichucky River Valley. The tower is accessible by a 1.25-mile (2 kilometers) hiking trail and is open to the public for free.
